I'm back! I know it's been a super long time. But, after seeing how many page views I got on this blog I decided to revisit it and try to keep up with it again. I decided to subscribe to Curl Kit instead of impulse buying all of my products! I also got my new little Canon T3i and I plan on using it as much as possible! DIY : Spice Up Those Boring Flats!

Here I am with another DIY! I bought some plain black flats for 8 bucks. I knew instantly that I planned to spice them up with a cute bow. For this project you need:

• Flats

• Fabric or Ribbon, whatever you choose to to make your bow

• Scissors

• Needle/Thread

• Button Snaps

These shoes came with a string bow on top of them, so I just removed it.







Next, create a bow using your fabric or ribbon. Then sew a button snap to each of the shoes and bows you create.







Snap the bows on & rock them!

Protective Styling 101

Ok, I have been needing a break from my hair for some time now, and I also think my hair was ready for a break from me. So, I decided that I wanted to get a sew in. I ordered curly virgin Indian hair from Indian Hair.Net and I finally got it installed today. Let me just say I am feeling myself way too much! I will post photos of my install in the next few days. Here is a photo of the hair I used! The hair is 12 inches long and it can be worn straight or curly.
